Shopping online with us is just as safe or safer than using your credit
card at your local nursery. We use standard secure server software that

Shipping Options:
Monday through Wednesday, all of our plant orders are shipped via Federal
Express using standard 2-day shipping. This means that if you order a
product before noon PST, your order will arrive within two business days
of the day ordered. Orders placed on Thursday will be shipped Federal
Express overnight, adding a five dollar charge to the bill. We do this
because no plant wants to be cooped up in a box all weekend. For this
same reason, no orders will be shipped on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
Non-plant orders are shipped via UPS ground service, and take 7 to 10
business days for delivery.

that live plants are not shipped during the winter months. Specific restrictions
are noted on each product.
Restrictions on Shipping Live Plants:
Weather limits when plants can be shipped to cold weather areas. See information
on product pages for allowable shipping dates. State and Federal Agricultural
regulations prohibit the shipment of certain types of plants into certain
states. Be aware that these laws cause many plant species to have limited
availability.
Non-US Orders:
We are very sorry, but at this time Emily's Plants only ships to US addresses.
We cannot ship to Canada, Mexico, nor to overseas destinations.
Sales Tax:
State laws require companies to collect sales tax from residents shipping
merchandise to states where the company has established offices. The Emily's
Plants main office and operations are in Los Angeles, California;
we are, therefore, required to collect sales taxes on orders shipped
to locations in the state of California. The rest of you are okay,
for now.
