Sleeping
Ah, now this is the life:
Forty winks in a flowerbed. Rip Van Winkle among the roses. If you
have a cat or dog, chances are he's already found the best spot
for napping on the balcony. Follow your pet's example and make your
own leafy nest in the sky.
A daybed draped with
cool cotton sheets and covers is an inviting place for repose. An
old metal hospital cot or a salvaged bench entwined with ivy can
be decked out for the afternoon with a down comforter and pillows.
A pile of old quilts on the sofa or hammock would do fine, too.
If it's chilly out, bring along a thick wool blanket to curl up
in.
Snoozers on a shoestring
budget can opt for a plush rug spread out on the floor. Just add
a few colorful cushions and your magic carpet is ready to take you
away to dreamland. Of course, in a pinch you could always just lean
your head against a big terracotta flowerpot with a lavender-filled
sachet on your eyelids.
Yaaaawn. I'm getting
sleepy just thinking about it. Z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z.
